Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support SIEM and SOAR systems for threat detection.
  • Provide log collection capabilities to identify cyber threats and meet compliance requirements.
  • Assist in regulatory compliance monitoring and incident response.
  • Troubleshoot misconfigured systems and parse logs for effective threat detection.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers in cybersecurity practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SIEM Engineering, including building infrastructure and collecting logs.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and knowledge of security industry trends.
  • Ability to create scripts for various tasks related to cybersecurity.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and configuring security systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Security+, GISF, GSEC, CISSP, CCSP, or GCDA.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
