About the position

The Warehouse Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse by managing inventory accuracy, organizing backroom storage, and handling incoming and outgoing deliveries. This position requires effective communication with team members to ensure timely and accurate product delivery, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming inventory shipments and verify accuracy against packing slips or purchase orders.
• Sort incoming product orders according to best practices.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Accurately pull, inspect, and prepare merchandise for delivery.
• Organize and maintain the backroom storage area for efficient use of space and easy access to inventory.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, such as delivery vehicles and forklifts.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies.
• Attend all applicable training and be certified in the use of appropriate equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and record-keeping.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety standards and practices in the workplace.
