About the position

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the first friendly person that greets clients and assists them with their banking needs. This role offers a great insight into the world of banking, insurance, and wealth management to build a foundation for a career in financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Work face-to-face with clients in the branch location.
  • Manage a cash drawer.
  • Assist clients and team members with their banking needs.
  • Uncover client needs and educate them on German American products and services.
  • Verify account information and perform loan and deposit transactions.
  • Engage in friendly, meaningful conversations to guide clients.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong listening skills to understand client needs.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to better serve customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual/Multilingual skills.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Cash-handling experience.
