About the position
Northrop Grumman is seeking Mechanical Engineers for an internship opportunity located at our Mission Systems Sector in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of engineering projects related to airborne multifunction sensors.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze and solve engineering problems.
- Participate in testing and evaluation of engineering prototypes and systems.
- Document engineering processes and results for project reporting.
- Engage in team meetings and contribute ideas for project improvements.
Requirements
- Must be a full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program from an accredited college/university.
- Must be majoring in or have majored in Computer Engineering or a closely related degree.
- Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2025.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite).
- Ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable period of time.
