As a Summer Analyst in the People & Engagement (P&E) program, you will engage in specific projects and receive on-the-job training that supports various P&E functions, including Learning and Development, HR Operations, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. You will assist with special projects by conducting research, organizing information, and helping implement people programs, procedures, and guidelines. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students interested in human resources, providing a platform to develop essential skills and gain insights into the workings of a major financial institution.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in specific projects and on-the-job training supporting one or multiple P&E functions.
  • Assist with special projects by conducting research and organizing information.
  • Support the implementation of people programs, procedures, plans, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other analysts and associates across the Bank.
  • Attend events and weekly presentations hosted by New York Fed leaders.

Requirements

  • Interest in the field of human resources with a strong academic record.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to execute tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Expected graduation between Winter 2025 & Spring 2026.

Nice-to-haves
