SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Acquisition Program Management Support to support an opportunity at Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management expertise to support day to day operations within the Bioeffect Division portfolio.
  • Apply acquisition and program management principles to guide program and project accomplishment through the various phases of the research acquisition lifecycle.
  • Perform all tasks in a professional manner.
  • Follow in-place and help develop administrative and monitoring support tools as required.
  • Participate and assist with guidance in the development of strategic and tactical acquisition planning.
  • Demonstrate capability to collect, analyze and appraise acquisition data.
  • Work with project/program managers to devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
  • Engage in learning defense acquisition and research policies and regulations.
  • Proofread and edit project plans, research proposals, and data collected by program management team.
  • Identify and document programmatic risks and implement approved actions to mitigate them.
  • Assist with all necessary contracting activities required to support project contract awards.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of contractual and financial execution of a project/program.
  • Utilize financial/programming data systems to retrieve, process, and synthesize information.
  • Perform budget tasks and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations and expenditures.
  • Provide technical guidance, advisory support, and assistance on a wide range of research management issues.
  • Participate and provide expertise to the executive levels within the Government and to contract/industry representatives.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft software programs including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Acquire competency in program management and government business applications.

Requirements

  • Possess at least a bachelor's degree.
  • At minimum an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level I certification in Program Management or a Program Management Professional (PgMP) certificate.
  • At least three (3) years demonstrated experience working as a Program Manager in a military environment.
  • Recent and relevant experience within the past 5 years in Program Management.
  • Experience reviewing cost, schedule, and activity reports on projects.
  • Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication abilities.
  • Experience completing tasks independently or with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with the company.

Nice-to-haves

  • Currently possessing a Secret Clearance.
  • Experience using CCaR.
  • Experience with some or all tasks within this PWS.
