3rd Grade Substitute Teacher

About the position

Saint Raphael School is in the heart of San Rafael, California, and seeks staff members willing to be a part of our Veritas vision. Saint Raphael School is looking for a full-time position (first half of school year) as a long-term substitute teacher for 3rd grade. The current teacher will be out on maternity leave from August through December.

Responsibilities

• Take on all teaching duties pertaining to 3rd grade
• Engage with students to foster academic excellence
• Support students who struggle as well as exceptional students

Requirements

• A desire to make a difference in the lives of students
• Teaching experience with younger grades
• Commitment to student success
• Full-time availability, M-F, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, from August 11 to the end of December
