3rd Shift Order Selector/Auditor RPI

About the position

The 3rd Shift Order Selector/Auditor is responsible for selecting orders and safely delivering them to the delivery dock or staging area in a manner that meets company standards. The order selector is in charge of accurately filling and completing all orders placed by Vallarta stores. This position requires working in a fast-paced refrigerated environment of 33 degrees and involves lifting and selecting cases of products, completing daily Material Handling Equipment checklists, and ensuring the accuracy of pick orders.

Responsibilities

• Select and safely deliver orders to the delivery dock or staging area.
• Accurately fill and complete all orders placed by Vallarta stores.
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment using vocollect or pick sheets.
• Assemble orders for shipment including selecting, building, and shrink-wrapping.
• Transport orders to staging locations with Material Handling Equipment.
• Ensure pick order is accurate and free of damage.
• Repack any orders when needed.
• Attach system generated order label per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide extraordinary customer service with a friendly and courteous attitude.
• Exhibit a responsible, professional, and positive attitude towards the job and co-workers.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure well-being of oneself and others.
• Work in a team environment.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and specifically select cases of products.
• Must complete daily Material Handling Equipment checklist.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced refrigerated environment of 33 degrees.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.

Nice-to-haves

• Pallet Jack, Sit-down forklift, Stand-up Reach experience.
• RF and/or Voice Technology experience.
• Experience working in a Food/Warehouse Distribution environment.
