About the position
The 3rd Shift Production Worker at Action Logistix is responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a factory setting, specifically in the production of dairy products for ice cream. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail, as workers will be lifting heavy items and ensuring quality standards are met in a non-temperature controlled warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment in a factory setting
- Lift 25-50 pounds repetitively
- Mix batches of dairy products for ice cream mixture
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently on a production line
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Familiarity with mechanical processes and equipment
- Write legibly for record keeping
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays
