About the position

The Midtown Group is seeking a Methodology (Agile) Coach to join our financial messaging client in Manassas, VA. This position is offered on a contract basis at a competitive rate of $72/hour (W2). The Agile Coach will play a crucial role in supporting the scrum team by utilizing Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to effectively plan, manage, and deliver customer value and solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and will work diligently to remove any impediments that may hinder the scrum team's progress. Additionally, the Agile Coach will collaborate closely with the team Product Owner to meet product development and delivery needs, ensuring that the team is aligned and focused on achieving their goals. Responsibilities

  • Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver customer value and solutions.
  • Ensure the proper use of collaborative processes and remove impediments for the scrum team.
  • Collaborate with and support the team Product Owner in meeting product development and delivery needs.

Requirements

  • Completed bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
  • 4+ years' experience as Scrum Master.
