About the position

The 737 Field Technical Representative at Dynamic Aviation is responsible for performing all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on modified Boeing 737-500 aircraft. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational readiness of aircraft used for various missions, including oil spill response and other aviation solutions. The representative will work closely with team leads and management, engage in troubleshooting, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance with federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals and FAA/manufacturer publications to determine repair methods.
  • Perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft or ground support equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team lead or manager on upcoming maintenance activities.
  • Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components using hand tools and testing equipment.
  • Diagnose issues based on pilots' discrepancies and perform necessary repairs.
  • Assemble and install various aircraft components using hand or power tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop floor environment.
  • Learn procedures for higher-level assignments.
  • Complete required paperwork to comply with Federal Regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain parts inventory and report all parts received from headquarters.
  • Act as a customer service representative for management and pilots.
  • Independently develop work schedules and assignments.
  • Deploy with the aircraft on spray operations/tests/demos as needed.
  • Fly with the aircraft on spray missions as a spray system operator.
  • Maintain the spray system according to engineering documentation and FAA approved manuals.
  • Complete expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems (OEM and STC's).
  • Operate the spray system during low-level spray flights.

Requirements

  • Relocation to Moses Lake, WA required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • FAA A&P certificate required.
  • Avionics/electrical knowledge required.
  • Valid US Passport.
  • Minimum of 5 years aircraft experience with Boeing 737 or similar aircraft preferred.
  • Ability to travel away from home for 30 days based on customer needs.
  • Good teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Highly resourceful.
  • Must provide own tools.
