About The Position

The Program Supervisor for the 988 Wisconsin Lifeline is responsible for overseeing the coordination and functioning of the crisis counseling program. This role involves managing team performance, providing training, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to individuals experiencing emotional distress. The supervisor will also engage in program development, policy formulation, and administrative support, while working closely with the leadership team to maintain program relevance and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in crisis intervention.
• 6+ months of experience with scheduling and supervision.
• Master's degree in social work or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in crisis intervention preferred.
• 1+ years of experience with scheduling and supervision preferred.
• Strong communication, self-initiative, professionalism, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the general functioning of the 988 Wisconsin Lifeline program.
• Oversee the hiring process, including performance evaluations of assigned team members.
• Provide training and daily supervision to staff and interns.
• Participate in administrative activities such as speaking engagements and committee memberships.
• Audit client interactions and logs to ensure high-quality service and documentation.
• Train new staff or interns in crisis intervention techniques.
• Review program goals and recommend changes to ensure relevance.
• Assist in program development and policy formulation.
• Track welfare checks, CPS, APS, and rescue reports for follow-up.
