This role is critical in supporting the production of aircraft components by utilizing both manual and CNC machines. The selected candidate will be responsible for interpreting complex blueprints and specifications to set up and machine items, particularly focusing on fabricating out-of-sequence emergent production parts as required. The position demands a high level of precision and attention to detail, as the machinist will develop and revise Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry to ensure the accuracy of the machined parts. In addition to technical skills, the machinist will collaborate with team members to resolve issues and complete job responsibilities effectively. This position is expected to be 100% onsite, requiring the selected candidate to work at the North Charleston location.
