About The Position
Envision Physician Services is currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a full-time opportunity at HCA Florida JFK Hospital located in Atlantis, Florida. This position is part of a robust anesthesia care team that includes 15 physicians and 28 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The cardiac anesthesiology team consists of 7 specialists who cover approximately 800-900 cardiac cases annually, including open-heart surgeries and structural heart procedures such as TAVR, Mitraclip, and LAAO. Expertise in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) is essential for this role, and while certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. The position does not require in-house call, and post-call days off are provided, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. The annual case count for 2023 is projected to be around 18,500, with a diverse case mix that includes general, cardiac, orthopedics, and neurosurgery, but excludes obstetrics, pediatrics, and trauma cases. HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 460-bed acute care medical/surgical facility that specializes in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics, and bariatrics.
