There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
In your first year with Texas Instruments (TI), you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which is designed to provide professional and technical training and resources to help you ramp up quickly and set you up for long-term career success. This program includes function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job. As a Digital IC Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting new TI products and turning our customers' visions into reality. Your responsibilities will include defining, designing, modeling, and verifying digital circuits that meet performance, power, cost, and schedule requirements. You will be involved in defining, designing, modeling, implementing, and documenting the world's first 64-bit DSP processor, MMU, and heterogeneous multicore shared memory and cache systems, which include coherent TI DSP and ARM processors. This position offers the opportunity to work in exciting areas such as CPU simulator development, 64-bit vector processor ISA architecture, and development and verification. Your role will also involve collaborating with business teams and system engineering to develop mutually agreeable design specifications, providing high-level analysis on chip architecture trade-offs to ensure compliance with specifications and superior performance at a competitive cost. You will participate in design reviews and create the necessary design and product documentation, supervise IC layouts to ensure high-performance standards, characterize prototypes, develop test specifications, and coordinate with test/product engineering to drive product releases. Additionally, you will drive behavioral models and gain exposure to other roles such as Design Verification and Analog Design through formal learning, projects, and on-the-job development experiences that will help broaden your knowledge and accelerate your growth and success at TI.
