About The Position
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers at Whittier Glen Assisted Living. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to clients with various daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, and you will be responsible for a range of tasks that support their daily needs. You will work closely with clients to assist them in personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, while also providing companionship and emotional support. Your role will involve administering medication under the direction of a nurse or healthcare professional, helping with meal preparation and feeding, and performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients. In addition to these responsibilities, you will escort clients to appointments and social outings, ensuring they remain engaged and active in their community. Monitoring and reporting changes in a client's health status is also a critical part of your job, as it helps ensure that they receive the appropriate care and attention they need. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to individuals who may have varying levels of need, and it is essential that you approach your work with compassion, patience, and empathy.
