About The Position
The Director of Enterprise Applications at Artivion, Inc. plays a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic management and delivery of all business applications on a global scale. This position is essential for ensuring that systems such as Business Intelligence (BI), Master Data Management (MDM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), web/mobile platforms, and AI/ML technologies are seamlessly integrated, optimized, and aligned with the core business processes of the organization. The director is tasked with leading digital transformation initiatives, which include the implementation of advanced systems like Quality Management Systems (QMS), labeling, barcoding, warehouse management, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). These initiatives are designed to enhance operational efficiency and compliance across international markets, including the United States, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. In this role, the director will bridge the gap between technology solutions and business needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, improve user experience, and ensure technology adoption. Strong leadership skills are required to manage a diverse team, along with adept stakeholder communication to align IT strategies with business goals. The director will also maintain rigorous oversight to ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliver measurable business value within a highly regulated industry. The responsibilities of the director include developing and executing a comprehensive global IT application strategy, ensuring system integration and optimization, leading digital transformation projects, overseeing multiple IT projects, managing vendor relationships, spearheading data management and analytics initiatives, ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements, allocating resources effectively, leading and developing the IT applications team, driving technology adoption and user training, establishing performance metrics, aligning IT solutions with business processes, implementing security measures, engaging stakeholders, and continually researching emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
