About the position

The Dispensary Associate at Trulieve plays a crucial role in guiding customers through their cannabis purchasing journey by providing education on product benefits and potential side effects. This position emphasizes exceptional customer service and compliance with state regulations while ensuring a compassionate experience for patients seeking relief from various medical conditions. The role involves working closely with management to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain a well-organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
• Provide empathy and compassion to patients.
• Deliver the TruExperience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
• Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
• Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures.
• Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
• Assist customers with any product or device issues.
• Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
• Perform additional team tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or in a similar field.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).
• Prior experience in retail and/or customer service is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent people skills and effective communication in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to work effectively without supervision and in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects.
