About The Position

Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is seeking ambitious and detail-oriented Mid-level Environmental, Health and Safety Consultants to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This full-time remote position will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with the management and implementation of their Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs. We are looking for an experienced candidate who possesses a strong skill set in various areas including Management Systems (ISO 45001, 14001, 50000), Written Program Development, Ergonomics, Training, Industrial Hygiene, Process Safety Management, Fall Protection, and a thorough understanding of environmental regulations such as stormwater, wastewater, hazardous waste, solid waste, and air emissions. The ideal candidate will have industry experience in sectors such as Technology, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Bio-tech, Food and Beverage, Retail, and Manufacturing. Candidates with certifications such as Associate/Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP) or Professional Engineer (PE) will be given strong preference. Strong organizational skills, along with exemplary written and verbal communication abilities, are essential for success in this role. While we are primarily looking for a generalist, we are open to considering health and safety specialists or environmental managers as well. In this role, you will be expected to coordinate activities to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to environmental, health, and safety requirements. You will develop and implement risk assessment tools, create EHS programs and procedures, and conduct training sessions as needed. Additionally, you will serve as an EHS representative for site-related projects, which includes reviewing Management of Change forms, conducting project safety reviews, evaluating new equipment, overseeing contractors, and conducting site walks for environmental permitting. You will also assist with incident management, including investigations and the implementation of corrective actions, and work closely with the EHS Team and site Managers to perform various assessments and audits.
