Requirements

• 1+ years of furniture mover and/or warehouse associate experience preferred.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and reliability with a strong work ethic.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, must be able to speak English.
• Ability to perform assembly of furniture using hand/power tools.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with warehouse equipment such as order pickers and hand trucks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect for damages or flaws to furniture before leaving the warehouse and upon delivery.
• Strategically load delivery trucks with outgoing furniture and items.
• Safely unload and place items in designated locations as identified by the client.
• Open, inspect, assemble, and install items as directed by the client.
• Report any damages or flaws to furniture immediately upon inspection.
• Retrieve and process waste products from installation sites.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck interiors and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Provide delivery paperwork and times to the manager after deliveries.
• Stage incoming freight for processing and inspect for damages.
• Participate in warehouse upkeep and cleanliness, including trash removal and maintenance of work areas.
• Perform data entry and administrative paperwork related to incoming items.
• Communicate with clients to retrieve additional information as needed.
