About the position

The Human Resources Manager at Sabre Industries is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to maximize the strategic value of the Human Resources Department. This role encompasses a wide range of functions including talent management, employee training and development, compensation, benefits, communications, regulatory compliance, and security. The HR Manager plays a crucial role in assisting and advising department managers and supervisors on various human resources issues, ensuring that the organization effectively navigates through change initiatives from an HR perspective. In this position, the HR Manager will demonstrate the ability to assess a variety of abstract facts, formulate reasoned alternatives, and communicate decisions and solutions effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as the HR Manager must function independently while also being a collaborative team member. The role requires a proactive approach to driving initiatives, developing, and implementing creative and effective solutions to key problems, with a continuous improvement mindset. The HR Manager will also be responsible for managing employment processes, including recruitment and selection of qualified applicants, and ensuring that new employees receive comprehensive information about company policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and benefits. Additionally, the HR Manager will advise managers on organizational policy matters such as affirmative action programs, equal employment opportunity, and sexual harassment, recommending necessary changes. This role involves planning, directing, managing, and coordinating the work activities of direct reports related to employment, compensation, benefits, safety, and employee relations. The HR Manager will ensure compliance with all HR-related state and federal laws and regulations, interpret policies as needed, and keep management informed of critical matters in a timely manner. The primary focus of this position is to drive HR KPIs to achieve business results, hire top talent, and foster a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of the Human Resources Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Ability to function as a change agent and streamline HR functions.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate decisions and solutions effectively.
  • Track record of building support and credibility with employees at all levels.
