About the position

The position involves managing IT and Cyber Security projects to ensure they are delivered within the approved scope, budget, and schedule. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders and resource managers to guide project teams, mitigate risks, and resolve issues. The project manager will also provide insights into project statuses and their impact on business and operational goals, while coordinating project activities and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Implements projects in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains the Project Execution Plan and executes the project in accordance with this plan.
  • Establishes and maintains project documentation.
  • Coordinates the efforts of all project participants, including consultants and contractors.
  • Manages the project in line with the project budget.
  • Ensures project controls are implemented for effectively managing project scope, schedule, quality, cost, cash flow, risk, contracts, and communications in accordance with the applicable corporate standards.
  • Provides clear, timely and accurate project status reports for management as required.
  • Prepares reports and makes presentations to management.
  • Promptly communicates issues to the next level of leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years leading IT/Cybersecurity projects as a project manager or program manager.
  • Leadership experience directing resources and managing work across multiple teams and people is a plus.
  • Proficient in project management waterfall fundamentals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical understanding of IT or Cyber Security systems.
  • Experience in creating and managing project schedules.
  • Proficient in office tools such as Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with meeting scheduling, meeting facilitation, and collaboration tools including online meetings, instant messaging, and video conferencing.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMI PMP Certification is a plus.
  • Alternate Project Management certifications are a plus.
