About the position

Tri Pointe Homes is seeking a New Home Advisor to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This position is integral to our commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences and driving sales in our assigned communities. As a New Home Advisor, you will be responsible for selling homes by optimizing the new home sales process and enhancing the customer experience. You will utilize all available sales and marketing resources to achieve sales and closing goals, actively participate in traffic-driving efforts, and engage with prospective customers to guide them through the home buying process. In this role, you will meet and greet prospective customers, collect registration materials, and conduct tours of homesites to familiarize them with the community layout. You will ensure that customers understand the specifics of where their future home will be built and the surrounding property lines. Your responsibilities will include delivering effective sales presentations, explaining the benefits of energy efficiency and green features, and processing sales documentation. You will also be expected to follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure a seamless closing process and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders involved. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably in new home sales, and possess excellent communication skills. You will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to home delivery. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively. Responsibilities

  • Utilize all sales and marketing resources to achieve sales and closing goals for assigned communities.
  • Participate in traffic driving efforts, including follow-up calls and hosting events.
  • Meet and greet prospective customers, collecting registration materials from every visitor.
  • Conduct tours of homesites to familiarize customers with the community layout.
  • Ensure prospects understand property lines and neighboring structures during site visits.
  • Secure sales office and models, placing proper signage when necessary.
  • Engage in the defined selling process to deliver effective sales presentations.
  • Actively seek to close prospective customers by asking closing-related questions.
  • Communicate the benefits of the community and the company's reputation effectively.
  • Explain energy efficiency and green features of the homes to customers.
  • Discuss the home building and buying process to ensure customer comfort and knowledge.
  • Process sales documentation and complete purchase agreements for homes.
  • Follow up to ensure successful closing of sales in assigned communities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless sales process.
  • Communicate professionally and timely with all stakeholders involved.
  • Manage backlog and maintain communication with customers post-purchase.
  • Coordinate and host broker previews and promotional events.
  • Meet reporting deadlines and prepare weekly update reports on customer traffic.
  • Develop knowledge of competitor policies and provide feedback to management.
  • Monitor competitive products and keep management informed of market changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Real estate license, if required by state law.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous sales experience required.
  • New home sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Current working knowledge of homebuilding and the residential real estate industry.
  • Ability to prepare, plan, and deliver clear and persuasive sales presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
