About the position
As a Park Area Ambassador at Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, you will play a vital role in ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the park. This position requires a positive attitude, high energy, and a commitment to quality service. You will be working in a team-oriented environment where collaboration and communication are key to success. Your day-to-day activities will include engaging with guests, controlling guest flow in attraction waiting areas, and continuously interacting with guests to enhance their experience. You will greet guests warmly and provide them with excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for morning park preparations prior to opening, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-stocked, including restrooms. You will also operate and maintain various equipment such as blow packs, pressure washers, vacuums, and hoses to keep the park in top condition. Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work in various front gate positions as needed. Responsibilities
- Ensure exemplary guest service by engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Control guest flow in attraction waiting areas.
- Continuously engage waiting guests in conversation to enhance their experience.
- Greet guests and provide excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Provide morning park preparation prior to opening.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas of the park.
- Operate and maintain blow packs, pressure washers, vacuums, hoses, and other equipment as needed.
- Stock restroom supplies to ensure availability for guests.
- Work any front gate position as needed.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication and pride in the excellence of work.
- Ability to initiate conversations with guests.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment.
