About The Position
Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Scanning Systems Engineer for a contract position that is expected to last for 12 months or more. This role is primarily focused on the design and configuration of EMC Intelligent Capture and Captiva software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner. The position allows for remote work, providing flexibility while engaging in critical tasks that support the company's operational needs. As a Scanning Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with the Enterprise Storage group to identify storage and backup needs, ensuring that the infrastructure supports the high-volume processing requirements. You will also provide both on-site and remote technical assistance to other resources and customers, which is essential for maintaining service quality and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies and the ability to integrate third-party components into the overall solution effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with large third-party Capture or ECM software solutions, specifically Intelligent Capture Captiva 7.5, and will be familiar with auto classification and indexing technologies, including the use of various barcode technologies such as OCR and ICR. Additionally, experience supporting IBML Batch Scanners and large volume paper processing centers from an IT perspective is crucial. The role also involves client scripting in Captiva 7.x and Captiva process development and configuration, as well as automated classification and extraction using OCR, OMR, and ICR technologies for high-volume environments utilizing Captiva Advanced Recognition (formerly Dispatcher).
