About the position
Montauk Transit Service, LLC. is seeking dedicated School Bus Drivers to provide safe and reliable transportation services for the Townships of Franklin and Hillsborough. The role requires candidates to work split shifts on weekdays, ensuring students are transported to and from school efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Transport students safely to and from school and other designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school officials.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or C with 'S' and 'P' endorsements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass drug screening, physical examination, and background check.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience driving large vehicles or buses.
