As a Shift Leader at 7-Eleven, you will be an essential part of the store's operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly during your shift. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate the tasks of team members, ensuring that they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently. You will be expected to maintain a clean and customer-friendly environment, which is crucial for providing outstanding service to our customers. This role requires you to stock and merchandise products, operate the register, and provide prompt and courteous customer service. You will also be responsible for checking in merchandise deliveries from vendors, organizing and stocking the main vault cooler, backstock, and outside beer cooler inside the store. Additionally, you will receive and stock deliveries from the McLane truck, ensuring that all products are available for customers. In this position, you will drive sales through effective communication with customers, assisting them with their needs and ensuring that quality standards are met. You will perform cashier duties, which include ringing up sales and maintaining cash control. Regular cleaning activities will also be part of your responsibilities, along with any other tasks assigned to you. The role may also involve forecasting, ordering, and stocking merchandise, for which appropriate training will be provided. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations will be crucial to your success in this role.
