About The Position
At Codale Electric, the Solutions Specialist II - Industrial Controls and Automation plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between Rockwell Automation and Codale. This position is primarily focused on creating proposals for Motor Control Centers (MCCs) based on customer specifications and effectively communicating these technical proposals to clients. The Solutions Specialist will engage in various commercial programs that support proposal activities for configured-to-order and engineered-to-order package solutions, particularly in the realms of drives, industrial controls, and automation products. The role requires the extraction of pertinent information from technical documentation to generate accurate bills of materials. A solid understanding of applicable industrial components and low voltage drive products is essential, as is the ability to apply this knowledge in MCCs and other packaged solutions. Collaboration with other CTO/ETO specialists is a key aspect of the job, ensuring that all team members are aligned in their efforts to meet customer needs. In addition to managing order entry, document review, and delivery, the Solutions Specialist will support internal customers by providing technical quotes that meet specific requirements. A customer-centric approach is vital, as the specialist must represent themselves professionally and maintain honesty and fairness in all dealings. The ability to manage issues to resolution while ensuring a positive customer experience is paramount. Building and nurturing relationships with Codale's partner, Rockwell Automation, is another critical responsibility. Proficiency in using configuration tools, such as Power Control Builder and Proposal Works, is necessary for creating proposals and configuring products. The specialist must also accurately document any clarifications and exceptions to customer specifications in proposals, ensuring transparency and clarity in communications.
