As a Trust Officer, you will be responsible for the development and administration of client accounts, which includes estate settlement, trust administration, investment agencies, and IRA accounts. Your role will involve managing client accounts personally, emphasizing fiduciary expertise, investment management, and understanding of account statements, taxes, and remittances. You will provide exceptional service to both current and prospective clients by leveraging your knowledge of estate planning strategies and the estate settlement process, while coordinating portfolio management in accordance with the governing instrument of the Trust. In addition to client management, you will promote Nicolet's culture, train staff, set goals, and review performance. You will coordinate Personal Trust/Fiduciary matters across various office locations, ensuring compliance with Nicolet's policies and current legal and tax regulations. Your expertise will assist all offices in identifying new business opportunities and enhancing existing client relationships. You will also contribute to the intellectual overhead of the Trust Operation and participate in the Trust Administrative Committee. Your responsibilities will include calling on current and potential accounts, as well as centers of influence, to develop new business and maintain favorable client relations. Staying informed about new regulations related to trust administration and the legal and tax implications of investment decisions will be crucial. Participation in community and business activities will enhance the bank's image and position while developing new business for the trust department.
