About the position
The Teamcenter Data Migration Expert will play a crucial role in the successful migration of data to the Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of data migration strategies and the ability to implement them effectively. The expert will assess the current data environment, identifying necessary systemic changes and data model updates to facilitate the migration from various source systems, including Enovia, Windchill, and ARAS, to the target Teamcenter system. The role involves analyzing and mapping source data to the target Teamcenter PLM structures, defining and documenting data transformation rules to ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process. The expert will lead the execution of data migration activities, which include data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Hands-on experience with Teamcenter versions TC13/14 is essential, along with the ability to develop SQL scripts and ITK codes to perform data migration and transformation tasks. Additionally, the expert will utilize migration tools and scripts to automate data migration tasks, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Conducting data validation and reconciliation is a critical part of the role to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the migrated data. The expert will also be responsible for identifying and resolving any data discrepancies and issues that arise during and after the migration process. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, PLM developers, business analysts, and end-users, is necessary to gather requirements and ensure a successful migration. Regular updates and reports on migration progress, issues, and resolutions will be provided to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project.

Requirements
- 7 years of experience in data migration and product lifecycle management (PLM).
- 6 years of experience with SQL and Teamcenter PLM.
- Senior level expertise in data migration processes and strategies.

- Ability to commute to Atlanta, GA.
