About the position
The Case Packer Operator position is a full-time role at a well-established manufacturing plant in Kapolei, HI, specifically for the night shift. The operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating machinery to package products while ensuring quality standards are met. The role requires adaptability to changing schedules and the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate case-packer, coder, and palletizer to create finished products.
- Visually verify that finished products meet quality specifications.
- Perform changeovers and restock raw materials while keeping the production line running with minimal downtime.
- Replenish production line and equipment with raw materials such as pallets and shrink film.
- Clean the work area and accurately complete paperwork at the end of each shift.
Requirements
- Manufacturing experience, preferably in the food service industry.
- Common sense and excellent work ethic.
- Ability to perform basic to moderately difficult mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Must successfully complete in-house forklift certification test.
