About the position

Looking for the next step in your Aircraft Maintenance career? As a SkyWest A&P Mechanic in SLC, you will be a part of a fast-paced environment full of variety that puts your talent to work on our growing fleet of aircraft. Plus, you will qualify for a $10,000 bonus with a commitment to work in SLC for at least three years. Those with military A&P experience are also eligible for an additional $7,500 bonus. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot all aircraft systems
• Be responsible for making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner
• Be trained to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time
• Manage all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork

Requirements

• Possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license
• Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements
• Hold a valid FAA-issued A&P Certificate
• Possess good troubleshooting skills
• Possess excellent communication and people skills
• Possess problem-solving and organizational skills
• Be willing to work a night/third shift position including nights, weekends and holidays
• Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety

Nice-to-haves

• CRJ and EMB experience
• Be familiar with Company and Manufacturer Manuals
