About the position

As a Retail Sales Associate at AAA, you will become part of a well-established and trusted brand that has been serving its members for over 100 years. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and are eager to promote AAA's diverse range of products and services. You will work in a dynamic retail environment, where your primary responsibilities will include up-selling and cross-selling AAA products, planning domestic travel vacations, and assisting with incoming calls for Roadside Assistance during peak times. The role offers a structured work schedule with no Sundays, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. You will be part of a team that values performance, as evidenced by the monthly incentive plan based on individual performance, and you will enjoy a competitive pay structure starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on your experience and location. In addition to your sales responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to accrue over three weeks of paid time off during your first year, along with eight paid holidays. Responsibilities

  • Consistently up-sell/cross-sell AAA products including new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
  • Plan domestic travel vacations including car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books, and triptiks.
  • Answer incoming overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during high call volumes.

Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of sales/customer service experience.
  • Have effective communication skills both written and oral.
  • Proficient computer skills including the ability to multitask in several websites and programs.
  • Ability to read maps and geography knowledge a plus.
  • Must maintain a satisfactory criminal history, as well as meet all state-specific legal requirements for this job.
