About the position
We are seeking a qualified candidate for a position that requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance and technical support. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or an Associate of Science Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. Candidates with significant experience in aircraft maintenance may also be considered. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of various technical subjects related to aircraft systems, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential, and the candidate should be prepared to travel as needed.
Requirements
- HSD/GED required; Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred
- 2 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and/or technical support capacity, or 6 years' experience in aircraft maintenance with 2 years' experience with computerized maintenance management systems
- Knowledge and practical skills in Structures, Hydraulics, Avionics, Electrical, Pneumatics, Fuel and Powerplant Systems
- Understanding of aircraft terminology and ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Strong written and oral technical communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office applications, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing
- Ability to travel as needed
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor of Science or Associate of Science Degree
- Airframe and Powerplant License
- Experience with aircraft maintenance support functions and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Familiarization with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)
- Exposure/experience with commercial air transport aircraft
