About the position
St. Aloysius Catholic School in Bowling Green is seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time Academic Tutor to join our Intervention Team. This role is essential in providing targeted support to struggling learners as well as offering enrichment opportunities for those who excel. The ideal candidate will possess a valid elementary teaching license in the state of Ohio and have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The tutor will work closely with students to assess their individual needs and develop tailored instructional strategies that promote academic success. This position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of students. As a part-time tutor, you will be expected to work approximately 15 hours per week, primarily during school hours from Monday to Friday. The role requires in-person interaction with students, allowing for a more personalized and effective tutoring experience. You will collaborate with teachers and other staff members to identify students who require additional support and to track their progress over time. Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in need of academic support.
- Assess students' learning needs and develop individualized learning plans.

Requirements
- Valid elementary teaching license in the state of Ohio.
