About the position

The Account Executive for Acute Care and Monitoring at Medtronic is responsible for driving sales growth and market share by promoting the Respiratory & Monitoring Solutions portfolio to key clinical leaders in various hospital departments. This role involves effective territory management, relationship building, and providing education and training to clinical end users. The position is based in Northern New Jersey and requires a skilled sales professional to expand the territory and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand territory through effective management and selling skills.
  • Plan and execute work to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Act as the product expert and provide education and training to clinical end users and hospital staff.
  • Gather market intelligence to identify new business opportunities.
  • Establish and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer/patient technical and product issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven sales experience within the healthcare industry, preferred.
  • Clinical experience or background selling clinically.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with patience and persistence.
