About the position

TOOLBX is looking to hire an Account Executive with a background in B2B sales and a strong track record of over achievement. Focusing on finding new customers, you will be responsible for establishing TOOLBX as a trusted business partner with target accounts. Someone who is natural at selling and has a strong knowledge about the construction industry, with a passion to learn. Your day will involve selling our dealer ecommerce platform and/or customer portal to newly prospected dealers so they can more effectively sell materials to their customers. You will prospect and find new key accounts within your region through leveraging your existing network or utilizing sales tactics to penetrate new accounts. Building a healthy sales pipeline by booking meetings and conducting in-person and online demos will be essential. You will be comfortable using a variety of prospecting tools, such as sales automation, phone, email, LinkedIn, and unannounced visits. Additionally, you will identify and reach decision-makers and be comfortable talking to Owners, VP's, and C-suite of key Dealer Accounts. Building solid relationships, qualifying additional potential, and scheduling sales/demo appointments for dealers stemming from our national partnerships and inside sales leads will be part of your responsibilities. You will also resolve product or service problems by clarifying the complaint, determining the cause, and selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem. Maintaining dealer records by updating account information in Salesforce is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Sell dealer ecommerce platform and/or customer portal to newly prospected dealers.
  • Prospect and find new key accounts within your region.
  • Build a healthy sales pipeline by booking meetings and conducting demos.
  • Use various prospecting tools such as sales automation, phone, email, LinkedIn, and unannounced visits.
  • Identify and reach decision-makers in key Dealer Accounts.
  • Build solid relationships and qualify additional potential.
  • Schedule sales/demo appointments for dealers from national partnerships and inside sales leads.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying complaints and determining solutions.
  • Maintain dealer records by updating account information in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven sales/account management track record.
  • Experience in construction and specifically the LBM industry.
  • Experience selling ecommerce platforms or comparative SaaS solutions to the industry.
  • Exceptional ability to multitask through various communications channels and CRM (Salesforce).
  • Ability to be proactive and overcome challenges.
  • Ability to make decisions within a data-driven environment.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Professional representation of the company at all times.
  • Experience in coaching and upskilling team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of various sales methodologies.
