About the position

The Account Executive at Townsquare Media is responsible for driving sales and establishing client relationships in the Rockford market. This role focuses on leveraging digital marketing solutions to create successful advertising campaigns for local businesses. Responsibilities

  • Determine strategy for identifying, connecting, and closing new opportunities in the local market.
  • Prospect and identify potential clients using proprietary data and analytics.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with internal teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Provide world-class client service, research, and market analysis to create successful campaigns.
  • Bring premier marketing and advertising solutions to local and regional businesses in the Rockford market.
  • Diversify clients' solutions through cross-selling various marketing solutions including broadcast and digital services.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales goals.
  • Strong marketing acumen.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience selling or working with digital and/or multimedia advertising solutions.
  • 1+ year of sales or marketing experience preferred, but not required.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow a career in Sales.
  • Valid Driver's license, auto insurance, and vehicle.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
