About the position

The Account Manager, SMB (BCH) at Relias is a strategic role focused on building and maintaining exceptional customer relationships within the healthcare sector. This position aims to increase client retention and revenue through cross-selling and expansion opportunities, while collaborating with various internal teams to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing overall account strategies for specific named account customers to grow existing business.
  • Connecting with clients to provide insights and value, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Achieving sales quotas through cross and up sales with each client account.
  • Collaborating with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Operations to refine account management strategies.
  • Delivering proposed solutions to meet the needs of assigned customers.
  • Supporting the Client Success Team on renewals and maintaining client relationships.
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
  • Resolving service issues for at-risk clients and facilitating renegotiations.
  • Managing leads, expansion opportunities, and forecasts in line with operational requirements and KPI tracking.
  • Documenting and maintaining Salesforce data effectively.
  • Coordinating the preparation of sales documentation and billing for expansion opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in an account management or software sales role.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and/or account management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Account Management experience in a high growth SaaS company.
  • Healthcare/Hospital industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Gong.
