About the position

The Meals Account Manager is responsible for achieving key sales objectives by managing existing accounts and aggressively pursuing new business opportunities. This role focuses on the growth and development of Kerry's Taste and Nutrition portfolio in the Eastern and Mid-Western market regions, requiring creativity, value proposition selling, and excellent customer management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains targeted high-level relationships and contacts with the accounts
  • Prospect and 'close' new business opportunities through standard product, custom products, and integrated solution selling
  • Perform account planning and key account research to optimize efforts and account penetration
  • Ensures margin growth year on year and in line with the account plan and budget requirements
  • Manage complex pricing models aligned with Key Customers expectations
  • Regularly inform leadership of changing market dynamics and other factors influencing accounts of strategic importance
  • Regularly document activities in Salesforce and maintain an up-to-date 'pipeline' of qualified opportunities
  • Collaborate with technology business internal leaders for an integrated Go-to-Market (GTM) approach
  • Manage and communicate with internal cross functional teams to support customer opportunities and orders

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from accredited college or university required; Graduate degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience (Account Manager / Senior Account Manager level)
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in computer literacy
  • Breadth and depth of supply chain experience and utilizing Salesforce
  • Multi-dimensional thinking (combination of sales/consulting skills)
