About the position

The Account Manager at GovCIO LLC is responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of sponsored programs. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The position is fully remote and involves coordinating with internal teams and clients to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timelines internally with different implementation teams working on a project.
• Set up and manage Trello boards to ensure internal and external deadlines are met.
• Work directly with clients to manage sponsored programs, including creating and meeting deadlines, managing expectations, and delivering closing reports.
• Provide a high level of service to clients from kick-off to completion of projects.
• Provide regular updates and communications to clients on project timelines and status of work.
• Work with clients on reviewing deliverables for edits and approvals.
• Provide updates and coordinate flow of information internally to ensure all aspects of a project are understood and moving forward.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure that expectations are exceeded for clients.
• Complete tasks and responsibilities connected to GovCIO Media & Research and GovCIO events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of experience, with at least 1 year of experience working directly with external clients.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Capable of establishing rapport with clients.
• Oriented towards customer service and satisfaction.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Detail driven.
• Comfortable working in a start-up and agile culture.
