About the position

The Accounting Information Systems Specialist at DISH is responsible for supporting the financial organization by implementing and maintaining revenue recognition software, specifically Zuora. This role involves writing and testing SQL scripts, automating data processes, and ensuring data integrity through various financial analyses and reconciliations. The position offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse business lines within the finance sector, contributing to innovative solutions for complex financial challenges.

Responsibilities

• Write and test SQL scripts and processes for new product/service offerings and patch updates to Zuora revenue recognition software.
• Intelligent automation of corrective data processes and maintenance tasks for Zuora revenue recognition software.
• Assist with diagnosing, debugging and analysis of production issues including daily, monthly and quarterly data and revenue integrity validation and controls.
• Month-end journal entry preparation, reconciliation and analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related field.
• Strong background in SQL including big data analytics and validation.
• ASC 606 Revenue experience.
• Systems Implementation experience with special consideration for Zuora revenue recognition software experience and implementation.
