About the position

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the retail food store industry, based in Winston Salem, North Carolina. This role focuses on maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the efficient processing of customer transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions in case of discrepancies.
• Manage billing processes and cash applications.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Handle cash collections and commercial collections.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various financial operations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must.
• Proficient in Billing and Cash Applications.
• Experience in Cash Collections is necessary.
• Familiarity with Commercial Collections is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Knowledge of Oracle software is desirable.
• Experience with QuickBooks software is beneficial.
• Familiarity with SAP systems is a plus.
