About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist role is a contract position based in Fresno, California, focusing on the accurate and timely billing of contract work. This position is crucial for maintaining customer relationships and ensuring the efficient management of accounts receivable tasks, including monitoring payments and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer billing based on contract terms and work performed.
• Submit customer invoices in alignment with their specific processes and deadlines.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Keep track of customer payments received.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging to ensure timely payments.
• Engage with customers to resolve any issues related to overdue balances and discrepancies.
• Oversee the accounts receivable division within the company.
• Utilize accounting software systems, including ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Epic Software, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Handle cash activity and cash handling responsibilities.
• Perform other accounting and billing functions as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficiency in CRM
• Knowledge of Epic Software
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to carry out Accounting Functions
• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)
