ACS- Python Developer

About the position

Athenix Solutions Group is looking for a Python Developer in Augusta, GA. The developers will support a variety of projects to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems assisting in the defense of our nation.

Responsibilities

• Optimize prototype solutions into efficient production services
• Integrate with other services
• Software development of new or enhancement of existing capabilities predominately using Python
• Test and debug software code for network connected systems/integrated applications
• Collaborate with a team of Software and Systems engineers in an Agile environment to analyze requirements, derive user stories, track issues, and create user documentation for development planning
• Perform integration and testing as needed

Requirements

• Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
• Strong experience developing in Python
• Experience developing Service oriented architectures
• Experience developing Microservice solutions
• Experience developing scalable solutions, applicable to both large- and small-scale platforms
• Experience with Gitlab
• Strong experience with container technologies (preferably Podman, but at least Docker)
