About the position

Athenix Solutions Group is looking for Technical Writers in a variety of roles to provide professional writing and documentation services for cutting edge technical programs. The position involves developing documentation and technical manuals for projects related to application development, writing training documentation for complex systems that integrate hardware and software, documenting architectures and data flows, and collaborating with System Engineers and Software developers to formalize documentation from provided content. Additionally, the role includes documenting processes and standard operating procedures to ensure repeatability and ease of use.

Responsibilities

• Developing documentation and technical manuals for application development projects
• Writing training documentation for complex systems involving hardware and software integration
• Documenting architectures and data flows
• Collaborating with System Engineers and Software developers to formalize documentation
• Documenting processes and standard operating procedures for repeatability and ease of use

Requirements

• Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
• Entry Level: Bachelor's in communications, journalism, English, or related field, and no or minimal experience (or 4 years of relevant experience without a degree)
• Basic Level: Bachelor's in communications, journalism, English, or related field, and 2 years of relevant experience
• Mid Level: Bachelor's in communications, journalism, English, or related field, and 5 years of relevant experience
• Senior Level: Bachelor's in communications, journalism, English, or related field, and 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Microsoft suite of tools
• Experience with Confluence and Jira
• Experience with restructured text and assisting with documentation in a development environment
