About the position

ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for an Asset Manager requiring a Public Trust - Level 5 Investigation, located in Washington, DC. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. Support will be required on-site in Washington, D.C., operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM EST. The team provides on-site support to address IT issues efficiently, with the goal of resolving over 80% of requests on the first call. Warm handovers within the team are utilized to ensure the fastest resolution of issues. Support includes maintaining IT infrastructure, assisting with office moves, and verifying inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide deskside IT support during standard operating hours.
  • Resolve >80% of support requests on the first call, minimizing escalations.
  • Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests in ServiceNow.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Perform imaging of new and recycled desktops/laptops.
  • Deploy equipment for onboarding employees and reassign assets for offboarding employees.
  • Back up and transfer data during workstation replacements or reconfigurations.
  • Wipe hard drives of decommissioned computers for recycling or surplus.
  • Adjust and revise cabling as needed to maintain office connectivity.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network or standalone printers.
  • Participate in weekly move committee meetings and support IT-related office relocations.
  • Assist with site preparation, installation, de-installation, and equipment integration for new or relocated sites.
  • Continuously verify and update inventory records in ServiceNow.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle a high percentage of first-call resolutions.
  • Proficiency in managing tickets and documenting incidents in ServiceNow.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including imaging and deploying desktops/laptops.
  • Knowledge of printer configuration, networking, and equipment integration.
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate inventory and managing IT assets.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supporting office relocations.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and processes to ensure seamless support for new and existing systems.
  • CompTia Sec+ or Role Based certification compliant to DoD 8140.
