About the position

The Actuarial Analyst I position at Zurich North America is designed for individuals looking to start their career in actuarial science. This role is part of the Actuarial Operations & Assurance team and offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for both in-office and remote work. The analyst will support the Reserve Committee framework and engage in reserve analyses, financial reporting, and regulatory deliverables, providing foundational actuarial training and exposure to a global insurance environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and communicate related reserve analyses.
• Support delivery of high-quality Reserve Committee and regulatory monitoring materials.
• Establish and maintain excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Complete actuarial exams, progressing toward FCAS designation.

Requirements

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 2 or more years technical/insurance experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 3.0 cumulative GPA and no prior experience required in the Actuarial area.
• Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams.
