About The Position
The Medical and Health Professions Education (MHPE) graduate programs at Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University is seeking adjunct assistant or associate professors to train students interested in becoming health professions education leaders. Students who enroll in the MHPE programs are health care professionals who engage in transformational learning that connects their experiences, coursework, and knowledge to inform their teaching, research, and professional practice. Courses are offered in an online, asynchronous format and include three core content areas: teaching & learning, educational research & scholarship, and concentration courses in contemporary human anatomy education, higher education, and simulation education. Adjunct Assistant Professors are responsible for developing and teaching course/s in the MHPE Program. This position works remotely with required authorization in accordance with the VHS/ODU Telework policy.
