About the position

Provide administrative support for leadership, management, and professional development training as part of Hawaiian Airlines' new Learning and Development (L&D) team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for scheduling, coordinating, and reporting for all L&D programs.
  • Coordinate logistics, organize events, and track and report for the delivery of L&D training.
  • Create and execute system testing plans for new learning management system (LMS) features and processes.
  • Create and run reports, including scheduling reports and ad hoc reports.
  • Maintain system data integrity.
  • Review and upload courses and resources in an LMS.
  • Provide regular feedback to the L&D team to streamline the workflow.
  • Provide service to subject-matter experts and learners who may require support to achieve their goals.
  • Assist in fostering a learning culture within the team and organization to support Hawaiian Airlines' mission, vision, and values.
  • Act as a role model for positive and effective working relationships with co-workers and outside training consultants.
  • Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with HA policies and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in administration support for a robust work environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with experience handling complex schedules, registrations, communications, rosters, evaluations, and event support.
  • Experience with LMS, delivery platforms, or tracking and reporting systems for TD/L&D Program participation and completion.
  • Deep knowledge of PC-based computer systems (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Ability to interact successfully with multiple levels of management.
  • Excellent customer service and support skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in learning & development, business, or education. A combination of education, training, and experience are acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to analyze the needs of the workplace, associates, work settings, and work processes to assist in designing training solutions.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories, practices, and approaches.
  • Knowledge in instructional design methodology including needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
